Simply A Farmer’s Wife

The song says it all.  The last few days have been really hard for many reasons but mainly because I miss my little girl like crazy.

You feel like a candle in a hurricane
Just like a picture with a broken frame
Alone and helpless, like you’ve lost your fight
But you’ll be alright, you’ll be alright

‘Cause when push comes to shove
You taste what your made of
You might bend ’til you break
‘Cause it’s all you can take
On your knees you look up
Decide you’ve had enough
You get mad, you get strong
Wipe you hands, shake it off
Then you stand, then you stand

Life’s like a novel with end ripped out
The edge of a canyon with only one way down
Take what your given before it’s gone
And start holdin’ on, keep holdin’ on
Every time you get up and get back in the race
One more small piece of you starts to fall into place – yeah

i am sure as the holidays roll around your heartstrings are tugged on even greater…this whole loss of our babies is so not fair, and who ever said that time heals all wounds must not have really cared to start with!

time just makes the ache stronger, the memories founder…. there are days where i don’t really know what i miss the most, and the days where nothing can help the pain.

i hope that there is some peace and blessing this holiday seasons for you and ashley.

it is a up hill battle, im glad you have a strong faith in the lord and trust that he will guide you ans ashley to where you are to be in his perfect timing.

i love the song…the reason for this comment, who sings/wrote it?

i hope things clear up and out and over soon for you and your days are brighter and clearer…we got a dump of snow, our first this year really and it was nice…i think of the lil’ girls in heaven causing havoc…at least i like to think that aubrey is okay like that.

I’m so sorry Jessica. In this instance it’s all I can really offer. Pretty feeble huh?

I’m so glad that you are learning to stand more and more everyday. I know it’s hard, I can’t even pretend to know how hard, but I’m glad that you are mustering through it even when you don’t want to. You really have greater strength than you know.
