We got our proofs back Saturday from our photo shoot the previous weekend.  I was pleasantly surprised at how well they turned out and not because our photographer is shabby because she is A.W.E.S.O.M.E. but rather because I wasn’t sure if I’d look okay because of the huge weight gain.  They turned out great y’all!  We are so happy with them and cannot wait to schedule our next session with her!  Our girls had so much fun and were really doing their own thing although they managed to sit still for a few shots.  She captured the true meaning of our family!  So, here’s a few pics from our photo shot.

Today is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day.  Please take a moment tonight to remember those lost.  Since being diagnosed with CDH almost 3 years ago we have met so many wonderful people whose lives have been changed by the loss of their baby and today we remember them all.

They will always be loved and never forgotten.

Thankfulness.

You know it’s so easy to get wrapped up in all that’s negative like our economy, the war, the election and to forget about what’s positive in our lives.  As I was doing my daily blog walk this morning I realized that I truly do have so much to be thankful for.  I am very blessed and so today I’m going to share with each of you what I’m thankful for and I hope it inspires you to do the same.

God and my personal relationship with Him

So there’s a few of what I’m thankful for.  It’s so easy to get sucked into all the bad in the world but remember that there is so much more to life than the negative.  I hope that during the upcoming holidays we all find a little something to be thankful for.
